Foozy Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the use of the Foozy mobile application and related services (the "App"). The App is owned and operated by Foozy Ltd, a company incorporated in Scotland (the "Company").

In these Terms:

• "Company", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Foozy Ltd
• "App" refers to the Foozy application and all associated functionality
• "User", "you", and "your" refer to any person accessing or using the App

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Nature of the Service

The App enables users to upload images of food items and receive automated recipe suggestions generated by software algorithms. The App is provided for general informational and entertainment purposes only and does not provide professional cooking instruction, food hygiene guidance, safety advice, medical advice, nutritional advice, or dietary guidance of any kind.

3. Food Safety, Kitchen Use & Personal Injury Disclaimer

The App does not and cannot assess the safety, freshness, suitability, or fitness for consumption of any ingredient. The Company does not verify whether ingredients are in date, safe to consume, correctly stored, free from contamination, or suitable for a particular recipe or cooking method. By using the App, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for inspecting, handling, storing, preparing, and cooking all food safely and hygienically. You assume all risks associated with cooking, including but not limited to cuts, burns, scalds, fires, food poisoning, allergic reactions, or other injuries. The Company shall not be responsible or liable for any injury, loss, damage, illness, fire, or accident arising from improper food preparation, unsafe practices, expired or contaminated ingredients, or reliance on App outputs.

4. Allergy & Dietary Disclaimer

The App does not identify, detect, verify, or exclude allergens. Ingredient recognition and recipe suggestions may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. Users are solely responsible for checking all ingredient labels, allergen warnings, and cross-contamination risks. The Company accepts no liability for allergic reactions, illness, injury, or death.

5. Assumption of Risk & No Reliance

You acknowledge that any reliance on the App and its outputs is entirely at your own risk. The App may produce errors, omissions, incorrect ingredient identification, unsafe suggestions, or impractical cooking methods. You agree not to treat any output as definitive or safe without independent verification.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights in the App, including software, branding, algorithms, and content generated by the App, are owned by or licensed to the Company. Users may not copy, extract, scrape, resell, or commercially exploit any part of the App without prior written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law. Subject to this, the Company shall not be liable for any personal injury, illness, property damage, or loss arising from use of the App.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
